Jenna Ingalls is a student in the German Literature and Culture program. She studied German and Yiddish at UC Berkeley, and spent one year abroad at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin, wandering leafy and alternately icy streets and residing in quaint and grungy Friedrichshain. Her research interests include poetry of all sorts, Yiddish literature, and the intersection between Yiddish and German literature, especially that between the German poet Else Lasker-Schüler and the Yiddish poet Abraham Nochem Stencl. But, as it goes--her interests are young, but daily growing. Catch her at Kaffeeklatsch! |
